world of frames

There is an entire world based on little frames.

They are see-through and don’t have any content yet.

They don’t change during the day or night.  

Not even during any season.

They pop up, you can endlessly scroll through them, they look like a mirror, but don’t reflect us.

Maybe they don’t reflect anything.

Maybe they don’t even exist. 

 

They are empty.

Some are addicted to filing them, or maybe we all are.

We think we can control them, but addictions can’t be controlled.

These are photos of an installation I made. The installation reflects social media, an empty space filled with empty frames. The frames are placed in a suptile halve circle. This gives you a feeling of being in the middle of this empty world.
