A guided experience in which social media users discover their data self by visualizing and reflecting on their personal data.
As a guru, I will guide you through this installation consisting of three phases: the perceived self, the data self and the curated self. The Instagram app on your own phone serves both as a starting point and the final phase. As a result, you will be able to actively make more conscious decisions about yourself in relation to the platform.
I realized my data self is way more materialistic than I would like to be. I put a time limit on the app and switched off things I already have to much of like shoes and gym clothes.
